Our Chinese New Year Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at the Metropolitan Hotel in Toronto.  We are pleased to invite Mr. K.C. Chan, VP and Actuary, Asia Desk of Sun Life Financial to discuss:

The Early Bird registration deadline is Thursday, February 9th (for mail-in registrations), and 12 noon on Monday, February 13th for online registrations.

NOTE:  Due to popular demand, we have run out of parking passes.  If additional parking passes become available, they will continue to be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis based on registration date.  For nearby parking, please park at the City Hall lot ($6 flat rate after 6pm)

Thank you very much for your support and attendance at our meetings in 2011.  On December 12, 2011, the Pacific Rim Actuaries' Club of Toronto will be hosting an informal networking meeting.  In addition, Simon Curtis, the president-elect of the CIA will talk to us on the current market conditions and the impact/outlook for insurance companies as well as updates from the CIA.  Attendees will have a chance to have an open dialogue with Simon and network with one another.

Time: 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Cost: FREE for 2011 club members and $15 for non-members

Early Bird Registration Deadline: December 8, 2011 (noon)

Drinks and a light meal will be served and we will wrap up the evening around 8:00 pm with various draw prizes including the grand prize of a Blackberry Playbook tablet!
