The Early Bird registration deadline is Thursday, February 9th (for mail-in registrations), and 12 noon on Monday, February 13th for online registrations.

NOTE:  Due to popular demand, we have run out of parking passes.  If additional parking passes become available, they will continue to be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis based on registration date.  For those without free parking passes, we have negotiated a discounted rate at the hotel's parking lot ($6 for self-parking, $10 for valet).  Alternatively, if the hotel lot is full, you may park at the underground City Hall lot ($6 flat rate after 6pm)

Thank you very much for your support and attendance at our meetings in 2011.  On December 12, 2011, the Pacific Rim Actuaries' Club of Toronto will be hosting an informal networking meeting.  In addition, Simon Curtis, the president-elect of the CIA will talk to us on the current market conditions and the impact/outlook for insurance companies as well as updates from the CIA.  Attendees will have a chance to have an open dialogue with Simon and network with one another.

Enterprise risk management is a critical corporate function of any successful organisation, both in day-to-day decision-making and strategic planning. The Pacific Rim Actuaries' Club of Toronto, in collaboration with the Joint Risk Management Section of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), are very pleased to offer a new "Ask The Experts" forum on Monday, July 18th, 2011.

Attendees will be able to gain insight of three CRO's, and to explore how they leverage ERM to gain competitive advantage for their organisation.  PRACT business workshops may be counted toward your CIA CPD credits. Please see the registration form for more details.
