Eighth International Longevity Risk and Capital Markets Solutions Conference

The University of Waterloo is hosting the 8th International Longevity Risk and Capital Market Solutions Conference from September 7-8, 2012.  The full conference program is available at the website www.longevity-risk.org.

The organizers have offered PRACT members a 20% discount off the registration fee.


Highlights of this year's program include:

1. John Kiff from the International Monetary Fund will discuss the longevity-related materials in IMF’s 2012 Financial Stability Report, which has recently received considerable interest.

2. Executives from companies including Prudential, Sun Life Financial, Pacific Global Advisors and Deustche Bank will share their experience in pension de-risking solutions.

3. Professor Andrew Cairns, one of the founders of the famous CBD mortality model, will share his expertise in modeling and hedging longevity risk.

4. On top of 10 plenary talks, we have more than 40 breakout presentations on topics including risk management, pension, reverse mortgages, annuities, pricing, modeling, and economic analysis.
